It was fun. The sheet of stamps had some blank space, usually, so I would make stamps for myself. My favorite stamp said "NO!" in 72 point type. You would be surprised how often it came in handy. I also made one that said "Whoever is responsible for this MUST report to Room 213 on the second floor IMMEDIATELY." I stamped it on postage-paid response cards and merrily sent them back whence they came. What address room 213 was at was of no concern to me. I used to make rubber stamps for a living. It was fun.
