Am I a Prostitute II

No, but why do I always look like one?!

I was surprised to find this old photo on Facebook, posted by one of my younger sisters. Since it’s already up for people to make fun of me, let’s make fun of me here, where I can maintain a tiny bit of control.

This is a very former Sister Wolf, age 38, soon to become pregnant and give up the weightlifting.

What about that dress!!! Purchased at a thrift shop in Ventura for $1, and worth every penny. Don’t get excited though; I never wore it out of the house!

And the armpits! Jesus Christ! If only my armpits were still this luxurious! Now I only wish I’d flashed them more often.  Maybe I’ll see about getting extensions.

The saddest part, beyond the unbearable stupidness of the whole enterprise, is the worthless calves. I tried and tried, but No Calves, as Arnold would say. They’re the hardest muscle to build, and thus a badge of honor, or dishonor, in any serious gym.

The couch, the painting, the lamp, the shoes, all history, but at least I have this photo to remind me what a nutcase I once was.

    Fantastic!

All I’ve got is the calf muscles, and let me tell you they are highly overrated (although useful for running up hills and on soft sand).

I am 37 now, and via my blog building a vast catalogue of evidence of my own nutcasehood, now I have something to aspire to SW!

My sexual imprinting came back in the days of Betty Page and Sheena Queen of the Jungle.. so the photo is pretty invigorating, as far as I’m concerned.

  3. Tobi Lynne Says:

Calf muscles or no, you have some seriously hot legs, sister!

  4. Sal Says:

Holy mackerel, I didn’t know you were a body builder, Sister! I just love this superpowerful pose. Seriously do.

  5. Ann Says:

There’s a lot happening in that picture, and I love all of it! Your legs are ridiculously hot, first of all. And your armpit hair is glorious, screw anyone who says otherwise. Red lipstick, natch.

You mention the shoes are gone, but please tell me that dress is still hanging in the vast domain that is your closet?? And you should have considered keeping the couch, maybe having it recovered in orange velvet or something.

Not only do I love you; in fact, I couldn’t love you more!

  6. Make Do Style Says:

I dunno why but I think the outfit is fabulous – does this make me a madam! And did you fall back on couch after this photo and concieve – details??

What a fantastic photo! I’m so glad you posted this for us! I LOVE vintage SW pics :)

  8. WendyB Says:

Whoa nellie! I like the legs.

  9. Iheartfashion Says:

Nevermind the armpit hair, Sister Wolf; those are some seriously impressive legs! I had a 365-day a year gym habit at one time, and I can see I’m not the only one.

  10. K-Line Says:

You are buff in extremis! Gorgeous legs. And I think calves are overrated. I have very skinny ones also and I’ve grown to appreciate them because they always fit into pants.

My friend has trouble finding knee boots big enough to accommodate her calves. Who the fuck would want that problem? Quelle horreur!

Lovely legs, great hair, ferocious armpit bunnies.

  13. Mark Says:

You totally have smokin’ legs and something tells me they’re still pretty smokin’. I love this photo so much…

  14. Den Den Says:

Godammit sister. . . you’re a hot babe, then and now! (how about a bleached blond bob? Just for some diversity?)

“to remind me what a nutcase I once was”

For once I am lost for words!

  16. Juri Says:

This pic is another reminder for me that I’m nine days into dodging my New Year’s resolution of getting my old gym habbit back…

No one cares about the calves! Outside the gym and the competitions, that is. Huge calves would have ruined your legs for the outside world and the life outside fitness world for you. Your legs look much better without them. If building calf muscles were easy you’d be wearing flairs or gym pants for trousers and lumberjack boots for shoes.

Oh, and, also: great dress. Bring it back!

  17. HelOnWheels Says:

Wow. Most of the people I know do not look THAT hot at 38 (or at any age)! As for calf muscles…eh. I have big ole calves and they’re more of a nuisance than anything. Imagine not being able to buy tall boots in your shoe size because they won’t zip up over your calves; personally, I have to resort to wearing those stretchy faux-leather or fabric boots to accommodate what I loving refer to as my “piano leg” calves.

  18. fashion herald Says:

dang those are some incredible legs! and arms too, i think you were a great size for a bodybuilder. I am in great admiration. the armpit hair reminds me my brother-in-law paid my sister to shave hers. Per armpit. she drove the price way up to get a nice pair of boots.

  19. Dexter VanDango Says:

    Re armpit foliage.

When I first moved to Denmark and met my wife-to-be’s brother’s wife-to-be (..are you with me..?) she asked me why I liked Denmark.

Wanting to be suave I replied, “Because you Scandinavian women seem so much more ..natural and liberated. You don’t shave your armpits, for example.”

“I shave mine,” she said icily.

It took years to luke warm her to me.

Love seeing pics of a former self! Love the gams, SW. The couch is seriously wonderful! It has such a retro, vintage feel. What a great pic. Be proud, sister.

  22. Danielle Says:

    You’re amazing. I hope I’m half as cool when I’m 38….

  23. Queen Michelle Says:

    OMG!!! What a body!
OK, I need to work out and get arms like that before I’m 38!!! That gives me 3 years to lay off the takeaway chinese food. Mmm, never gonna happen.
