i love underwear… though NOT the white cotton variety. my sister thinks i have an addiction. it doesn’t matter if we are at nordstroms or wal-mart i will check out the underwear section. and probably walk away with something. i love garter belts! and thigh highs. so for me… buying underwear is shopping

My second job in Los Angeles was working for Trashy Lingerie. I was never so turned off by thongs, push-up bras, and the “swingers” life style as I was when I worked for Misogynist Mitch and Very Trashy Tracy. However, I do still have a few of the garters that I bought when I was working there (they s/b museum pieces by now). I also have my first Merry Widow that I wore the first Halloween after the Rocky Horror Picture show was released. It was one of the best Halloween parties ever. A murder of us, dressed in black stockings, merry widows, and not much more, including the guys, cawing out songs from the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Hilton! empowering? wearing granny panties with a towel cape, and tin foil wrist cuffs is empowering. wearing garters, yeah that’s ok too. actually i have no idea what i’m talking about.

so would buying new shoes also count as restocking? i think so…

Yes, yes, I hate the word empowering too, yes it is shopping – but totally justifiable, and those sleeves just kill the whole look for me. And I definitely get the Amanda thing, but like I had to tell you that, ha!
