Behold My Groupie Coat
This coat has been sealed in a big package, laying on my couch for nearly two weeks. My son’s accident brought my world to a halt, and I couldn’t bear the frivolity of opening a package.
Tonight, I felt it was time to check out my last impulsive and misguided internet purchase, so I tore the bag off the coat and squealed happily at the sight of this giant shaggy Kate Moss thing from Topshop. I don’t have a full-length mirror, so my husband took a photo to help me see how great it looks. I may not be Carine Roitfeld but ha ha, now I can look like a Yeti too.

Nothing to celebrate your boy’s wellness with the opening of packages. I love a good yeti coat paired with the semblance of normalcy.

i just love what it makes you do with your right foot. and if I zoom I can see the colour of your claws… but cannot quite make out who the musicians are in those EP triptychs… that’s a nice way to give old vinyl a good home.

Hey, that coat is really awesome! However much you spent, it was worth it. How soft is it? What does the lining look like, is it colored? So many questions.

You look very cool in that coat. That’s the attitudinal cool, not the temperature cool, although, maybe that too, because you certainly don’t look hot. NO — WAIT — I mean you don’t look overly warmish, is what I mean. You DO look hot, well, not hot, I mean, I’m not gay or anything, although there’s not a thing in the world wrong with that, I just mean you look, good, like. In a fierce kind of way.
