This is great. Thanks for sharing this. Your son must have had a great sense of humor and good ideas about the world, judging by the clip.
I wonder if the problem is actually just the ignorance of the rich though, or if they genuinely don’t really care? My mom says that rich people think of the world in a completely different way from everyone else.
Loved that movie, and I remembered the clip from when I first saw it, and thought at the time how adorable those musicians were. Funny coincidence, but the director is a good friend of long standing, so next time I see him I’m going to ask him about that scene.
Angelica, your mom sounds like she knows what she’s talking about.
Look, Sis, it’s clear to me that I got off on the wrong foot with you and should probably write off the possibility of turning that around.
Of course my reference to a “funny coincindence” had only to do with the fact that you and I know someone in common. A better choice of words would have been “small world” or something like that, but I meant no harm. I thought it might make you feel better to know that someone saw and really liked the part of the film that Max was in. I’m sorry you can’t see that, but I understand nevertheless.
