Stop Being Irritable!

All my life I have thought of myself as an Irritable Organism, like an amoeba under a microscope, being poked. Now, finally, there’s a treatment for this!   Read the product description:

“This profoundly calming perfume has a fresh, soothing fragrance with powerful undertones. It lessens irritability and helps you become centered, easy going and relaxed. Smelling of apples, bitter herbs and fresh grass, Roman Chamomile is soothing and comforting, calming, balancing and deeply relaxing, with a gentle, restorative effect which banishes irritability. The sunny Bergamot smells fresh with floral, lemon notes. It is reviving, soothing and balancing, cheering and heart warming and gently relieves irritation and anger. Rose is passionate and deeply rose fragranced, it banishes the blues and warms the heart. Patchouli is soothing, helping stabilize the mind; it has an earthy sensual nature that grounds those who get lost in too many circular thoughts, and gently helps irritation float away.”    (my italics)

OH MY GOD! At $65, can I afford not to get it? I feel soothed just thinking about it, but also kind of anxious. What if it’s sold out?   Do I need expedited delivery? Will I go crazy before I can get my hands on it?

I’m going to order it. I’ll keep you posted. You’ll probably know if it works or not. In fact, if it works, you won’t be hearing from me. Once I feel stable and centered, I won’t need to write.

I like the sound of this product much better than Doxepin, the drug my GP suggested when she noticed my war-torn legs. Doxepin is an old fashioned tricyclic antidepressant with the usual array of side effects.   I’m reluctant to take more meds, but I was intrigued by the following revelation:

“[Doxepin] is particularly useful in treating depression symptoms, which include anxiety, tension, trouble sleeping, guilt, fear, and lack of energy.”

That’s right, you saw it with your own eyes. Guilt and   fear. Imagine a life free of guilt and fear. Pretty fucking tempting, right? All they need to work on now is  loneliness, apathy, bitterness, greed and insecurity.

doxepin also has antihistamine properties. so if you are itchy AND angry….two for one.

  2. David Duff Says:

Yes, yes, but what about galloping grumpiness?

  3. Cricket9 Says:

Right now I need buckets of Roman Chamomile, Rose, sunny Bergamot etc. Or maybe a bucket Doxepin would do.

  4. Debbie Says:

    I’d take it. :)

  5. Andra Says:

David, you need to buy this by the crate.
Cricket, you’re just fine. Have a glass of wine.

  6. Sister Wolf Says:

David – I think that would be filed under Irritability. I see I’ve left out jealousy and vindictiveness though. What else did I forget??

  7. martha Says:

I so love this website. I have so much anger and irritability and sadness but you make me laugh and realize – I have no idea.

  8. MizLottie Says:

    If only.

  9. Guest Says:

doxepin is the fucking shit. i started taking 100mg of it before bed about 6 months ago & i’ve gotten normal sleep for the first time in 15 years, i shit you not. 8 hours, no waking up. normal, restful sleep. no side effects, either, at least not yet. highly recommended.

  10. Sister Wolf Says:

MizLittie – I ordered it from the Tata Harper website. Five dollars shipping, no sales tax.

    Guest – Wow. God. Okay.

  11. dust Says:

My irritability already has very special, personal aroma, all natural and completely sustainable and balanced, seams unlikely that Roman Chamomile could bring any improvement.
For that money I’d get 3 lipsticks and bring more color to my irritation.
Don’t you dare spending money on it, your irritation is a milestone to many of us.

  12. Andra Says:

Sister, ditto to your last comment.
I am down to an average of 3.5 hours sleep a night in the past year or so. I wouldn’t mind having a bit every now and then.
    Investigations are continuing.

  13. Andra Says:

Ah, make that a bit more (sleep) every now and then.

  14. Harm reduction Says:

Glad u purchased the Tata Harper product. Doxepin caused my thryoid to stop regulating my body temp; and have had to take a thyroid drug for over 15 years since, and until I die.

I have found Sativa strains of cannabis very helpful for the symptoms your GM is attempting to medicate.

I hope u fins relief wherever u can, with as few negative side effects as possible.

    Mommy-I love you!
    Love,
    Mommy

  15. Marky Says:

tricyclics turned me into a constipated zombie for two years of my life.

  16. Ann Says:

I’m with Harm Reduction – the cannabis helps. Immensely.

  17. Student Says:

The ingredients of this concoction were actually discovered and purified by one of my neuroscience lecturers (in Australia). He now markets the product as “Green odor” and it has a calming effect (proven scientifically). His product is also dirt cheap compared to this one which is clearly a knock off of a decade of research.

Patchouli. No thank you. Retched odor that reminds me of English class. Fucking hippie’s.
Grind some pills and dump ‘em into that tata herp derp drank (enjoy!), because that’s the only way you’ll benefit from this product. I hope your product test proves me wrong.
